The Racehorse Rehoming Centre

The Racehorse Rehoming Centre is set in the village of Combe St. Nicholas, on the edge of the Blackdown hills in South Somerset.

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome former ex-racehorses with the aim to giving them a worthwhile future. All horses signed over to the centre remain in the ownership of the charity for the rest of their lives and are available for permanent loan to enjoy their second phase of life, from happy hacking to more complex diciplines.

The centre is totally self funded, relying on donations from well wishers and from small fund-raising events. Run by dedicated volunteers who give their time, expertise and love for these under estimated equine athletes.

We are honoured to have Mr. Stan Mellor MBE and Lambourn Trainer Clive Cox  and Pat Murphy as our Patrons.
